The Center for Fine Art Photography call for entries for All Things Horses… Deadline June 18, 2008. From Appaloosas to Zebras, country roaming to carousel rotating are welcome to this call for entry. Images of working horses, wild horses, dressage, tack, anything related to the life of our equine friends is welcome. The Center for Fine Art Photography invites photographers working in all mediums and styles to participate in its exhibitions. Traditional, contemporary, avant-garde, creative and experimental works, including new processes, mixed techniques are welcome. Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all domestic and international, professional and amateur photographers working with digital or traditional photography or combinations of both.

is proud to announce EXPOSURE:
a nationwide open call for photography! All photographers will have their own online portfolio & receive a complimentary copy of JPG Magazine. The Top Photographers will be selected by New York Times Photo Editor Patrick Witty, Supermodel and Fashion Icon Tiiu Kuik, and NYC Gallery Owner David Kesting for the following award opportunities:
The Grand Prize: The Top Photographer will have their work presented in a massive scale photo show on buildings in the top New York City Art Districts: Chelsea, Dumbo and Williamsburg. Their work will also be featured at an Opening Event at the Leo Kesting Gallery in Manhattan on August 9th and they will receive: $2,008 cash, a full-press promotional campaign and a feature in our upcoming publication, "The Annual".
Student Award: The Top Student Photographer will receive a $1,000 scholarship; a feature in "The Annual" and their work will be presented at the Opening Event.
Educator`s Grant: The Educator of the Top Student Photographer will receive a $500 discretionary grant and a feature in "The Annual" for Teaching Excellence.
People`s Choice Award: The public will vote on all the portfolios on our site and select their Favorite Artist. The People`s Choice Photographer will receive a $500 grant; a feature in "The Annual" and their work will be presented at the Opening Event.
Beyond the big prize, we look for unique opportunities for all who submit to these competitions. We`ve developed an incredible network of gallery, media and art industry people and we want to put our connections to work for you.

is a major contemporary art exhibition that takes place online at Artoteque.com once every two years.

Guidelines
All entries go through a two-step selection process. The competition is judged solely by visuals submitted inline or attachment send to: submit@artoteque.com. Numbers of entries: 6 -12 works /image files submitted on-line. We can review your site for this purpose.
1st step selection
The first screening is free and is conducted by review of website for this purpose or on Jpeg [.JPG] versions of the submitted works inline or attachment.
2nd step selection
Submitters whose entries pass the first screening are requested to submit inline or attachment the works (JPGs image files 72 dpi up to 600 pix. send to: submit@artoteque.com) along the works details -title, year, medium, size, price and the fee payment.
Size and Works to be received
In order to complete the inclusion in ONLINE 1st Biennial of Contemporary Art of Artoteque.com you may submit as attachments or on-line 6 ~ 12 works /JPG s image files 72 dpi up to 600 pix (21x21 cm /8,3x8,3) and the works details: title, year, technique, size and price All submissions must be mailed to submit@artoteque.com. The works you submit can be sold during the exhibition (commission 7.9 percent).
Application fee
There is a US$ 80 / EUR 50 entry fee for 6 works. and US$ 15 / EUR 10 for each additional work.
Payment by Direct Transfer on account, by Money Order, by PayPal, by Western Union.
NOTE: submitters whose pass the first screening will be requested the competition fee only.

One Artists will be awarded two-pages in ART Made Only Once Artoteque's hardcover Quality art book series for collectors, galleries, museums, dealers and art lovers, who seek the latest trends in the art world. Over 200 pages, hardcover, 8½"x8½" /22x22 cm, 600 works. Marketing and distribution is through large book wholesalers and ecommerce channels, in US bookstores and internationally including Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Amazon in USA, Canada, France, Germany, UK, Australia and others. Estimated book realize 2009.
Award of Distinction Award value EUR 2,250.00.
Two Artists will be awarded one-page in ART Made Only Once Artoteque's hardcover Quality art book series for collectors, galleries, museums, dealers and art lovers, who seek the latest trends in the art world. Award value EUR 2,250.00 each.
Honorable Mention 65 Artists will be selected for Diploma of Excellence (Honorable Award)
