Nice story, but think about it
It's great that authorities were able to find this missing woman in the woods of New Mexico.  But, why does it take 3 weeks for the authorities to get around to looking for her? Why do officers ignore cars parked and not touched for days in outdoors, yet have the time to harass homeless people endlessly?

This Guy is a Judge?
Judge Sends Racially Charged Email About Obama

From Montana:

Chief U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull "admitted to sending a racially charged email about President Barack Obama from his courthouse chambers," the Great Falls Tribune reports.

Cebull "was nominated by former President George W. Bush and received his commission in 2001 and has served as chief judge for the District of Montana since 2008."

This man should be run out of office before morning.  If not, we have given up on the ideals this country was founded on.

As always, read the comments there.  Entertaining as usual!

We need to reduce corporate interference
Corporations are destroying our way of life in this country and we're paying them to do it.  By "our" I mean anyone making less then a few hundred thousand dollars a year.  In other words, YOURS.

This is WHY we fought the revolutionary war.  The situation is just as dire now as it was then.

So why are we willingly self destructing?

GOP promises to protect right to drop out
OK, this is NOT what we mean when we say we want justice and freedom.  What we WANT is help so that we can al lmake good, fair, free choices and have opportunity to thrive.

Read to the bottom.  Issa, who I otherwise dislike, actually gets it.  Maybe others would too if they would stop hating Obama simply because he is black and a democrat.

The income inequailty discssion faded away
Why is that?  Things clearly have not improved for those of us not in the upper 5%, and notably the top 1%.  More evidence of the root cause of the huge surge in income for the rich:

Income inequality driven by Bush tax cuts, capital gains

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/income-inequality-driven-bush-tax-165200088.html

Both the bush tax cust AND the reduction in capital gains were the result of Bush era "reforms"

Funny how we introduce those tax breaks and suddenly the rich get richer and the US builds debt at a much higher rate.  Yet, when anyone tries to point this out and ask for changes they are accused of radical tax and spend policies and class warfare.

It's common sense folks.  Remove those tax breaks, and end the wars, make some simple reforms to FICA and medicare (like extend the FICA tax into higher income levels, increase the retirement age slowly and do means testing for both, and start paying medicare for RESULTS not effort) and our budget problems will vanish.
