The Love of Horses
Why do those of us who love horses so much, love horses? Is it because they are so beautiful, so graceful, so magnificent, so majestic, so powerful, or just plain awesome. There are so many reasons why we love horses, I could go on and on. I love the feeling I get when I am riding them, you feel that power under you and you wonder why they let you move them around where you want them to go. They are so powerful but yet so loving and they so want to please you. It is such an amazing thing to be one and feel one with your horse. Unless you too have been there, you wouldn't know what I am trying to say. There are not enough words in our language to tell anyone what a wonderful experience it is.
It is also an awesome feeling to be out with Mother Nature in her outdoor world. When you are out there and on top of your horse, what more could there be? I really can't think of a thing except maybe to have the feeling of being one with God. Horses are God's gift to us. They were put here to give us joy and happiness and I am forever thankful.
