Firecat Studios Takes the Iron WebMaster Title!
Launched a mere three months ago, the Iron WebMaster website design
competition invited web designers from around the world to pit their
skills against one another.
Partially
based on such hit shows as the Food Network's "Iron Chef" and FOX's
"American Idol," Iron WebMaster presented competitors with a series of
design challenges and invited the public to help decide who should win
each round. Themes ranged from a simple web developer profile to
complex travel sites with interactive features.
Just
as with "American Idol," the competition was not short of its darlings.
Cynthia Nord of Indianapolis, Indiana and college-student Cole Hafner
of Ashland, Oregon, both sharpened their design skills with each round
and drew scores of votes from adoring fans even with late entries in the last couple rounds.
After five rounds of fierce competition, though, it was Firecat
Studios of Patchogue, New York, that shot ahead to claim the title of Iron
WebMaster. Firecat's entries were always timely and professional and
favored by a variety of celebrity judges.
Congratulations Firecat Studios on your stellar win!

Who Will Take the Title?
The fifth and final round of the Iron WebMaster competition is about to come to a close. With only a couple days remaining in the voting phase of Round 5, you have the chance to help pick the overall winner.
Will the current leader, Firecat Studios, take the title? Or will competition darlings Cindy Nord and Cole Hafner, who just submitted their entries, come from behind for the greatest upset of this competition. One thing's for sure, the winner of this round stands the greatest chance of taking the title of Iron WebMaster.

Dead Heat for 2nd in Round 4!
First place was a clear favorite, but after that things tightened up. We had the next three tied for second place, then the two after that tied for 5th!
Congratulations to Firecat Studios for taking Round 4 and solidifying the overall lead in the Iron WebMaster Competition!
Our second place finishers:
Not far behind, tied for 5th:
All entries were well done and well received, Thank you! Check the front page for overall standings and points. It remains pretty bunched at the top after four rounds, with only Firecat Studios a clear front-runner. But, ANY of the contestants has a shot going into the last round!

Round 4 Entries Raise the Bar
Once again, the leader in Round 4 of the Iron WebMaster is fcstudios. Between the elegant design and interactive best-price finder, their destination site seems like the obvious front runner.
But there's still a few days left, and as the last American Superbowl so aptly demonstrated... it's not over 'til it's over.
With a few days remaining in the voting phase, it's not too late to choose your favorite in this travel-oriented round of the Iron WebMaster competition. To start voting, click here.
Even if you choose not to vote, you'll want to check out competitor roaring's humorous take on vacation destinations. It's "Best Viewed with a Sense of Humour."
