Originally a supplier of parts, Dodge began building cars in 1915. It has been a division of Chrysler since 1928.

The Dodge Brothers Series 116 shown above had an L-head four-cylinder 212 cu in engine. It was produced from 1923 to 1925.

The Ford Motor Company produced more than 15 million Model T's from October 1, 1908 to May 27, 1927.

The Model T had a front-mounted 177-cubic-inch inline four-cylinder engine, producing 20 hp, for a top speed of 4045 mph. The Model T had fuel economy on the order of 1321 mpg.

Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Company of Buffalo, New York, was active from 1901 to 1938.

The 1928 Pierce-Arrow Model 81 Rumbleseat Roadster had a 75 hp, 288.5 cu. in. inline six-cylinder engine.
