Superfood Vegetables
There are many ordinary vegetables that are actually superfoods. What's a superfoods? It's a food with especially high nutritional content. They have magic powers! One great example of a vegetable superfood with magical powers is Kale. Kale has a wide variety of nutrients, including beta carotene, vitamin C, vitamin K, minerals, vitamin A and omega-3s. These contribute to its amazing health benefits, including ant-inflammation, anti-cancer, prevention of heart disease and eye health. Another green superfood vegetable is Spinach! This one is extremely common, and many people might overlook it for this reason, but spinach is a nutritional powerhouse. It has anti-cancer properties and supports a health immune system. There are also super spices that are highly nutritious. Just consider Nigella Sativa, aka Black Cumin or Black Seed. This one was very popular in ancient egypt, and also has anti-cancer properties. As you can see, there are many ordinary foods that have incredible health benefits thanks to a highly dense nutritional content and the presence of interesting compounds like phytonutrients and polyphenols. If you want to help your health, consume more of these!
