Saint Paul's College, Lawrenceville, Virginia

Saint Paul's College is a private, coeducational institution in Lawrenceville, Virginia, about 100 km (about 60 mi) from Richmond.

The founder and principal for its first 40 years was the Rev. James Solomon Russell. Rev. Russell arrived in Lawrenceville in 1882 as a newly ordained deacon in the Diocese of Southern Virginia. He started the school in 1888 with fewer than a dozen students as the Saint Paul Normal and Industrial School.

Today, the college confers bachelor's degrees and offers courses of study in the liberal arts, the arts and sciences, business administration and management, computer science, and law. There are 646 full-time students, 100 part-time students and 33 faculty. Tuition is $9,156 per semester and Room & Board costs $5,187 per year.
