June 4: Details, Details!
The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, p. 96 122.2 miles cloudy, RAIN! 71 recordings of 21 types. 57% clear. Jim Treacher: If you're pro-choice when it comes to killing your babies but not when it comes to buying more than 16 ounces of soda, #YouMightBeALiberal. By Emperor Bloomberg's magnanimous decree, you are permitted to listen to 16 seconds of this song at a time (Sugar Sugar, by the Archies) Bre McLoughlin: If life gives you melons, you probably have dyslexia. It was cloudy and cool, a nice time to take Pharaoh for a long walk. I ended up over by Mission Park and did some of the streets in that area I haven't done yet. I decided I might like to see "First Positions" and the only place it was showing was downtown, at The Crest. I checked on times, 12:15. So I headed over to the light rail station and hopped on the 11:10 train. While I did take an umbrella, I could also have taken a sweater. I was plenty early, so I stopped in at the Cathedral. If I'd been mentally prepared, I could have gone to Confession. Then I walked around downtown a little, before coming back to the Crest and, for the first time, noticing the schedule. They don't open till 5 on weekdays. I was looking at the Sunday schedule. Argh. I did find a grilled cheese cafe I want to try, but I wasn't hungry then. I just skipped Mass at the Cathedral and came home. With the firm resolution to pay more attention to the details now. I went to the back computer to check how I'm doing financially, and there were the Birkies! Apparently I slipped them off under the computer desk the other day.
