The big thing of the day was going to Bernadette's and having an Easter egg hunt for Gareth. I spent a little time with a basket and a couple of empty eggs in the house "training" him, showing him what he should do. This then worked out well when he went outside for the 9 eggs Rich had "hidden." Bernadette got some cute pictures. Me, not so much.
Then, in the house, he opened them and discovered colored goldfish. Joanna pounced. She methodically ate every single goldfish. Gareth was quite happy taking the eggs apart.
Tonight we went to Holy Saturday vigil, the Light Service. I just love this. There were a gazillion people getting baptised, confirmed, even 3 couples getting married. Lotta grace flying around! We didn't get home till 11, very very tired. He is risen! Alleluia!
