I recall reading a book on this subject at our library back about 1968. At that time a “roast beef” had been cultured, more or less, from some initial muscle tissue. It took several months for the process, but I guess this “new” technology had gotten lost since in the purple haze of the time.

Maybe we should use it to culture some honest, hard working politicians……..nevermind, you’d need to start with at least one donor cell, which we don’t have.
