An Instrument For Thee

Irish Harpby Patricia Bankhead ©2008, 2009

Lord I want to be an instrument for Thee
A love song for You, a beautiful melody

Flowing from my heart a worthy song
Giving You the glory all the day long

You are my Savior, the Lover of my soul
Now I want You to take full control

Whether an organ, a violin or a flute
I'll be any instrument that You choose

Let your hands guide the rhythm and rhyme
I surrender, I am Your's and You are mine

Pull my heart's strings, Lord have Your way
In perfect harmony, let the music play

Lord I want to be an instrument for Thee
Praising You all my days, through out eternity

Reference: Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

About the author: I am just a humble servant who loves writing for God. It brings me much joy to uplift and to inspire others. It is my desire to be all that God wants me to be and help others do the same.
