 The 25 verse, Epistle of Jude is thought to have been written shortly before 64 A.D. in Palestine. At different times, biblical researchers have identified different people as Jude, including the apostle, Judas Thaddaeus.
The Epistle was occasioned by the spread of the dogmatico-moral errors amongst the Hebrew Christians; pseudo-doctors "are secretly entered in", who abuse Christian liberty to give themselves over to intemperance; moreover "denying the only sovereign Ruler, and our Lord Jesus Christ."
Jude's intention was to caution his readers, the Hebrew Christians, against such depraved teaching, and to exhort them to keep faithfully the teaching of the Apostles.
The epistle concludes with the doxology:
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."

 Saint Luke was a physician and the author of the Acts of the Apostles and the Gospel According to Luke. Nothing is known of Luke's birthplace or the circumstances of his death. He was probably a Gentile and may have been a resident of Cyrenaica in northern Africa. Luke apparently joined Paul at Troas, the chief city of the Roman province of Asia. Afterward, he may have accompanied Paul on his second missionary journey as far as the ancient Macedonian city of Philippi, remaining there for several years while Paul traveled through Greece and Macedonia and rejoining him when Paul passed through Philippi on his journey to Jerusalem. Luke seems to have remained with Paul thereafter and probably was with him during Paul's last imprisonment.
Luke is often represented in art as a painter. This is true in the metaphorical sense that he "painted" masterful texts. WE BELIEVE in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

A Sunday school teacher was telling her class the parable of the Good Samaritan. She asked, "If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and bleeding, what would you do?"
A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, "I think I'd throw up."
