Film Night- Lost Boy: The Movie
LOST BOY: The Movie - A Story of Redemption will be shown on Thursday 6th November at 7.30pm, at Calvary, 344 Muir Street, Motherwell ML1 1BN. The film is based on the biography of Greg Laurie, Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship and founder of the Harvest Crusades. Online Bookstore
Our online bookstore is now up and running with several good resources at great prices. If you want to pick up a bargain check it out at http://calvarymotherwell.org/bookstore
We will be adding more stock to the bookstore in the coming months but if you don't see what you want, contact us on office@calvarymotherwell.org and we may have it, or be able to order it for you.
Secure online payment is handled by Calvary Media which is a ministry of Calvary Christian Fellowship, Motherwell. Missions
Summer 2009 seems a long way off but the way things are going it will be here sooner than we expect. This week we added the Missions page to the website with the Give Me Scotland video in both RealPlayer and Windows Media formats. In the meantime we continue to reach out in different ways here at Calvary in Motherwell. This month on Thursday 16th October we will be showing Lee Strobel's popular Video "The Case For The Creator" which looks from a journalist's point of view at whether Jesus really existed and how the world was created. The video starts at 7.30pm and will be shown in the Sanctuary at Calvary, 344 Muir Street, Motherwell ML1 1BN. Admission is free.

Breaking The Silence
Finally, after the last couple of months we have a newly updated site at Calvary Christian Fellowship, Motherwell. Check it out at http://calvarymotherwell.org where you will see several changes. Of course we haven't just been busy with one website....we continue to update our Teaching For Today site bring you a variety of free online Bible Teaching from various Pastors both from the UK and the US. You can check that out at www.calvarymotherwell.org/Teaching-For-Today/index.html for links to the various studies. We have also built a new children's ministry and new website to go along with it which you can see at www.station22v6.org where you can visit the various platforms and check out Captain Dan and his crew. Finally work is currently ongoing to bring you a much better up to date Calvary Media website which we do have some amazing plans for.
So that is what I've been up to for the last couple of months, not to mention we have nice new heating installed in the Sanctuary as part of the major ongoing refurbishment program.

You can always check out some of the bargains we are selling off on ebay: A book called "How To Study The Bible and Enjoy It" - a great resource if you don't know where to start. Just type the title into the search box and it will come up at the top of the page.
There are also some great CD's: For His Pleasure Songs For Scotland; Everywhere I Go by The Lively Hearts; and finally Simple Drops of Reign by What About Sunday. Just type the titles into the serach box on ebay and it will bring up the description and pics.
Now that most of the sites are up and running and I only have one left to build I will be more on top of keeping this blog more up to date and bringing you all the events and various things that go on in and around Calvary Christian Fellowship in Motherwell.
