Adding Social Marking buttons is quite simple to do. If you follow the
links through to the sites mentioned here, there are more detailed instructions
on how to obtain and insert the code.
One of the easiest ways for you your
website or blog can be bookmark and shared you site on Social Marketing sites is
via buttons or widgets. You want your
site shared and linked to as much as possible so that you can reach a wider
audience. The hot tips listed in part 2
mentioned a site www.socialmarker.com

register for a free account and then you may customise button size to suit your
website or blog. Maybe you want a custom feed button? You can get that too.
Social Marketing Community & Networking Sites – Part 2
Social Marketing and bookmarking can definitely help promote
your site. Just one way is with regard to the search engines and using the power
of these engines to bring unique visitor to your website. Best of all as this
traffic comes from SE listings, so it is totally free! Plus you know this
traffic is targeted as the person actually searched on your words.
An online business needs to have as much free targeted
traffic as it can get, as in the long term, traffic converts to earnings. While
it is not this simple, earning money online is a numbers game. There are
billions of people online every day, if you can direct these interested people
to YOUR website then you will have an upper hand over your competitors .
Here is an outline of the steps I took.
The initial stages of my marketing plan for my newest blog www.GRNMarketingSuccess.myccblog.com
had some big holes. I had a very little money allocated for marketing and had spent
weeks developing the layout and writing content.
Here is a basic outline of the first steps I took to market
my blog using social bookmarking:
I was already a member of digg, so I decided to start there.
I had prepared the url to my most recently updated blog content and a simple no
hype review or excerpt of the post. The action to take is ‘Submit New’, you will
be asked to nominal the url and media type, Digg will then search for
duplicates. If someone else has already submitted the url you can not post it
again, however you can vote for it or ‘digg’ the bookmark. Once you get to the
next step you enter the submission headline and review, then post to the category
of your choice. There is another review process before your final confirmation.
Once you have submitted to one site I recommend posting to as many as you can.
See my tips below for more information on managing your social marketing
submissions.
All of these sites below are free to join and are just a few
examples of social bookmarking sites.
Within one day I had second page Google listings and within
one week, I had front page listings on three of my top keywords.One of these listings was the first one! I
was so pleased with this result that I am using this technique to market all my
blogs and websites.

Choose a user name and have some information about you ready
to add to your profile. A photo is a must or even an image of your company logo
if appropriate. Your user name should be either self orientated (ie name or
nickname) or product orientated (eg scentedcandles if this is your product)
*If you plan on using these kinds of sites to market your
business, then I HIGHLY recommend getting a social marker account. A free
social marker membership will help to automate the marking processes by cycling
through the sites you wish to promote your URL/Blog/ Article or opportunity. It
will save you a ton of time and it is free so that’s why I love it. Get an
account here;
*Use consistent contact and user information so people can
easily locate you and all your information easily.
*The more content you can submit the better, plus do it
every day for a month and you will really start to see results.
*Bloggers – try www.spicypage.com.
Here you can trade clicks and votes on fellow bloggers websites. Then paste
your vote tally and spcicypage home page links to your blog for even more
exposure.

traffic and marketing suggestions you are seeing more traffic and prospects to
your website. I share these tips and tid bits I have learnt along the way as I
have found them to work for me. As I mentioned in my last post, I am going to

As your business brings in motivated (and sometimes not so
motivated) prospects on a regular basis, branding, message content relevance
and importance, but most importantly, products are what keep visitors coming back.
We all know that this is because of Attraction Marketing
Techniques that we are learning to properly use in our businesses. How do we
attract prospects? Through social media. What is social media?
Here are two great definitions that I read recently:
*Web content such as blogs and wikis, created by individuals
or a collaboration of individuals. Often times, social media content is

Most of us can benefit from incorporate at least a few aspects of social media into our routine, but, what brands you and grows
your loyal visitor base is consistency.
You
have heard me talk about consistency before. The path to consistent results
begins with consistent action. Consistently providing the same message that you
are a real person, who has a true desire to help those around you, will make
you more profitable and build your brand quicker.
When you promote yourself/business on Social Media sites, it
opens the door for others sell for you…in social and community settings. Let me explain. When you are
visiting a website, and they and you have profiles on the same social
communities, i.e. MyBlogLog or BlogCatalog, you are sharing with them that you
have come to their site, and had a look at the site they are sharing.What does this do for you and how does it
help business? It allows others to be aware of you, who you are, and why others
they might want to be interested in what you are doing.
Use these sites to interact with promote by voting on other
people’s content, websites, and video’s. This is also another way for you to
share who you are and allow others the ability to find you. Be consistent when
building your social profiles.Simple consistencies
such as user name, helps to build your
business and others awareness of you, you should be consistent – there is that
word again!?!
Just a quick post today...hopefully it will prompt you to think outside the square a little when it comes to marketing your business and generating traffic.
There are literally tons of ways to automatically promoted your business while you go about your 'ordinary life' online. One of my favorite ways to do this is by using social bookmarking sites such as Digg. Maybe you are a member of myspace? How can you use these tools to your business advantage? Maybe you can do something as subtile as adding your website to your profile. I suggest you join communities where the members and target of that community are similar to your business and then participate.

Bill thanks for the comment. I’ve heard comments like this for over 15 years now and it’s cool.
Most of the time they come from folks who are already dead set on not liking this business model and no matter what answer they get, it’s only fuel for more critical questions, and that’s ok.
It’s why we teach and practice target marketing.
It sounds by your framing of your questions that you haven’t really been through the system to find out any of the details for yourself.
It would be a logical and reasonable course of action to review the entire presentation and system, as all your answers are there.
Assuming you’ve seen all these types of systems and making your comments based on historical opinion is not really a scientific approach…
After your full review then we’d all be better prepared to discuss details.
However your question on how near to saturation the “source of money” is… is a bit of an odd question…
I’ve been in this industry for a full 15 years, the last 7 full time. My team here has made 20 times the sales as I have personally and so they’ve also made over 20 times more money than me…
It’s not a traditional MLM style plan where you have to recruit a small country to make significant money… but even though… this industry’s been around since 1959 and people have been worried about saturation ever since…
The market is exponentially much larger today than it ever was in 1959, even though there are hundreds more of these opportunities…
Even a high ticket program like RFS is STILL selling strong overseas… it’s a global program…
The “source” of the money are millions of people interested in:
1. Making more money from home online 2. People who enjoy travel.
Saturation?
NEVER has existed, and NEVER will exist. The reality of the marketplace will not allow it for various reasons… just hasn’t happened since 1959, heck even Amway and Herbalife are still around and profitable…
Anyway, sounds like you may just not like the model and that’s fine… never has been for everyone. But it’s been a Six Figure earner for us in less than 7 full months. Multiple six figures. It converts. And people are making money with it. #

Ok, with you so far. You are saying that the money comes from two sources: 1) people who want the opportunity to make money from the programs and, 2) people who enjoy travel
As far as I can tell, you recruit the people who enjoy travel to become the people who want the opportunity to make money? What I meant about the source of the money- in any business model, you have someone who provides a good and someone who pays for that good. I just wondered what the ‘good’ was here? Is it discount travel? That’s fine.
Also, you say I should preview the program before I ask these sorts of questions. I would like to do that. Where can I find out the specific details so I don’t ask dumb questions? #

I actually wish more people would ask more questions before getting involved… so they join for the right reasons.
Yes marketing this product is done in many ways… Reverse Funnel System is certainly not the only system to use to promote this company’s product or opportunity…
Matter of fact for people more interested in retailing the product, I actually do not recommend they use RFS…
RFS has it’s niche market primarily in those people who are actively looking for a business they can build from home on the internet…
People looking at franchises, people burned out in a corporate situation, burned out sales professionals looking for a change…
And of course other existing home business owners and network marketers looking for an additional income stream or open to looking at different systems…
That’s primarilly where it’s main effectiveness is… so actually for those folks, just being honest, the product primarilly IS the opportunity…
Different than a consumer mindset for sure, but seems to be the target niche that is most effective with this system.
Anyway, I only advised to take a full look at it through it’s website so you can at least get a sense of what the system is and isn’t to do some further research…

Using Message Board's & Forums To Generate Traffic
Until recently most marketers didn't know about this un-tapped resource. Posting to forums and message boards is a great way to get traffic, network with potential clients and brand yourself in the online communinity if you know how to do it properly. This doesn't cost any money and can be done in your spare time.
Posting on niche market forums can be an effective means of getting targeted traffic to your capture pages PLUS networking with people who are into the same things that you are. The coolest thing about joining and posting on message boards is that every post you leave will have what is known as a signature file left on it (which will contain a link to your capture page).
The beauty behind marketing on forums isn't that you go out and directly advertise your product, service, opportunity on the board, in fact I do the complete opposite! I just get involved in the community and leave my signature file on every post I make. Think of your signature file as your footprint that you get to leave behind every time you make a post on a forum/message board. It always stays their steering targeted and interested visitors to your capture page.
As long as you use discussion boards wisely and don't break any of the board rules, you can get access to huge marketing benefits. Not just in terms of people getting to know and respect your expertise, but in terms of the traffic you'll receive from the links that are attached to your posts and signature files.

Step #1 - Understand the concept Of Marketing on Message Boards/Forums
Although you could just use your primary capture page, you can greatly increase your opt in rate by creating a page specifically for the traffic coming from the posts that you make on message boards.
You want to build a specific capture system page for 2 very important reasons:
* The page you create can speak directly to the audience that is viewing it. If you know that everyone who will see this page just came from a message board, you can customize the page to reflect that.
* You want to keep specific stats on how much traffic you get from posting on message boards and how many people opt in to become leads from this strategy.
Step #2 - Build a capture page that will ONLY be used for Forum Marketing
There are a couple of other things I aim to do when making a splash page;
* The page is directed at my audience coming from my message board posts. You can even read in the headline where it says, "Hanging Out On Message Boards Is Fun & Everything BUT Wouldn't You Rather Turn That Computer Into a 24/7 Cash Machine? Of Course You Would!."
* The page is clean and has a set color scheme that matches the background. Not to much color, I would stick to 2 or 3 at the most.
* I have my name and information about me plastered all over the page. When I follow up with this person, I want them to already have a picture of me in their mind as someone who can show them how to achieve success. I also want them to value my time. This is the power of "positioning" using your capture page!
Step #3 - Join Forums that Interest You
Now that you've built a specific capture page it's time to go out and find a couple of forums that you would like to join. There are millions of forums available online so to find the one's your interested in just go to Google or Yahoo and do a search. Try terms like;
1. ____________ forums 2. ____________ message boards 3. ____________ discussion boards 4. ____________ online forums 5. ____________ online message boards (fill in the blank with your area of interest eg - parenting, wah mom's)
It is important know that not every forum you join will make you enter the HTML code to make your website a link. The good news is that you can always change your signature file if you need to so don't be worried if you get it wrong on the first try. Just browse the terms of the forum before joining to be sure you are not breaking the rules. For example one forum I am a member on does not allow you to put links to business's in the signature file, but allows you to put a business website under your profile. So if people like what I have to say and check out my profile they can view my site/capture page.

Step #4 - Start Posting, Replying To Posts & Get In The Conversation!
In order to start leaving your "footprints" online you need to start making posts, replying to posts and adding to conversations. Every time you make some sort of post your signature will be left at the bottom of that post. Thats one more chance you can be seen online!
* Make posts that will engage your readers and draw attention to your conversation. Share knowledge and ask questions.
* DON'T start writing about things that are not relevant to the forum you are on. If you use these niche forums to brag about your opportunity your account will probably be suspended and your posts won't stay online. The goal is to blend in with the other posters and let your signature file do all the work. There is such a thing as spaming on these forums, so check the terms if you are unsure.
* Make your profile as interactive as possible. Make sure you fill out all the "about me" questions when you sign up as well as an "Avatar" (picture) if the forum lets you do so.
* Post often! It only takes a minute to create a new post or reply to someone else's with your p.o.v. Post a few times a week and leave your footprint (signature file) everywhere you can online!
Step #5 - Find another "high traffic" forum to join and repeat steps 1 - 4!
It helps to keep a seperate email account for these accounts and a list of the forums you have joined, including user name and passwords. Maybe set up a text file or spreadsheet to keep this organised.
Isn't it great that even when you are not working persae you can still indirectly promote your business!
Here is another idea for you.....the above technique can work great for building a list also! Build a list of subscribers that will become your 'warm' market for future offers. The process is the same as above create a capture page specific to building your list. Offer vaule for their subscription, say ebooks and free bonus's to anyone who subscribes to your list. You could even make a page designed to build your list PLUS drive traffic to your website at the same time. More on that another time I think as this post is already huge.
Think out of the box a little and there are tons of possibilities to suit all types of mom businesses : )

p.s don't forget to go back to my previous post containing links to resources where you can build customised capture pages. If you are a little more advanced you will want to make and host the pages yourself for optimum results. Having your own url to host these pages on is much more professional. If you don't know how to do this don't worry if you follow my advice as above you will still see results : )
February 12th, I wrote about a method of getting listed in google for free in under 3 days. This post talked about writing and submitting articles to achieve this. (If you missed that post skip back and have a read as it has loads of information on free traffic sources.) Writing articles isn't for everybody. Maybe you don't have the time or the skills to consistantly churn out articles. So what do you do then? Well I have a soloution for you.
While you could hire a freelance writer to work for you, it may take a long time to organise this and negotiate payment rates that will suit your budget. Some writers charge by the word, others by the hour.
Instead of using articles to get listed on google, here is another option for you to consider. I will explain using an example of promoting a parenting website.
Before I do there are some general concepts of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) that you should understand first.
SE's use keywords to sort, index and rank websites (plus many other factors but it's the simple concept I need you to understand so I won't elaborate here today). Google has a ranking system that it uses to refine it's listings. This ranking system is call Page Rank (PR). A website can have a page rank number from 0 - 10. 10 being the highest page rank that you can achieve. The higher the page rank the better to google search listing result for that website on it's nominated keyword. You can view any sites google page rank by adding this function to your browser tool bar. Visit google here for instructions on installing the toolbar to firefox. (Simply search for 'google toolbar' for other programs)
Now, lets get listed!

Using a Parenting Tips website as an example....
First...
* Go to Google and enter the broadest keyword you can think of that's related to your website. In our example, it will be "parenting tips". Once you've done this, you'll see a list of Google results. * Browse through each website and pay particluar attention to the Google Page Rank of the website.
As I mentioned above, Google Page Rank is a measure of the "importance" of those website - according to google anyway!
* So, as you're looking at these top ranked websites for the search term "parenting tips", you should try to find websites with a Page Rank of 6 or higher. The site should also be relevant to the one that you are trying to get listed. * Once you've found several websites like this, you should search their website for their contact information. * Once you find their contact information you should send them an email asking if they will link to your website in return for you linking back to their website. If you do this correctly and professionally, they will respond and will place a link on their website to yours.
Obviously, in order to persuade someone to add your link to their website, you must give them a good reason to do this. So, always contact sites that are highly related to yours AND always think of a way that you can offer them something their visitors would benefit from if they add your link. I also recommend appealing to the webmasters 'ego' by adding specific comments about the site. eg - I really enjoy the photo posting board and toilet training information....
If you can manage to get 1 PR6 website to link to your website, you should be indexed by Google in under 3 days. If you can get 1 PR7 website to link to you, then, you should be in Google's index in under 24 hours!
Sometimes persuading the higher page rank websites is pretty tough, so there's another option you can use...
Purchasing Text Links - But For Only 1 Month
Purchasing links from high Page Rank websites. The easiest and fastest way to do this is to visit 1 of the many link purchasing websites. Here are a few of the better ones:
