St Matthias and St Luke

St Matthias and St Luke, VancouverThe congregations of St Matthias and St Luke merged in 1997. It is a multicultural parish with worship services in English, Cantonese, Mandarin & Japanese with an average Sunday attendance of 160-190.

Simon Chin is the rector. The parish voted to realign with ANiC in Feb 2008.

Ministries include English as a second language, Chinese classes, camps, youth, Alpha, Bible studies and prayer groups. The music ministry includes fund-raising concerts for relief & development. There are multi-cultural Sundays to introduce parishioners to each other’s culture, food and art.

St Aidan's Anglican Church
5145 Wyandotte St. E., Windsor, Ontario


St Aidan's was founded in 1924 and still meets in their church building with an average Sunday attendance of 125.

Rector is Tom Carman who came to St Aidan's in March 2007. Ordained in 1979 he served parishes in the Diocese of Calgary and St. Brice's, North Bay in the Diocese of Algoma. Deacons are Rev. Paul Almond and Rev. Harold Dolman.

Ministries at St Aidan's include: Alpha, Christian education, discipleship training, Bible studies, youth, children's, men's, women's and senior's ministries, fellowship meals and funeral luncheons, as well as a 'Breakfast club' in a public school, pastoral care in community, support refugees and collect food & clothing for those in need.

Upcoming, St Aidan's will:
  • Hold a weekend conference to review vision, core values and goals
  • Provide opportunities to develop discipleship (such as courses and small group ministry)
  • Establish house church satellites in the county

    St Chad's Anglican Church
    1695 Dufferin St., Toronto, Ontario

    St Chad's Anglican, TorontoSt Chad's was locked out of their building by the Anglican Church of Canada Diocese of Toronto. St Chad's is meeting at Toronto Heritage Adventist Church, 24 Innes Avenue (at Innes and Caledonia) until the dispute with the Diocese of Toronto is settled.

    Rector is Barbara Richardson and William Campbell is honorary assistant.

    Ministries include: Bible studies, meetings for the wider Anglican community, ecumenical ventures, monthly Network prayer meeting, door-to-door visitation, support for local food bank, and monthly communion service in seniors' residence.

    At St Chad's, their hope is
  • To hear and obey God as we pray and study His Word
  • To worship Him with pure hearts
  • To work wholeheartedly and generously for others
  • To reveal Him to others through our witness
  • To see Him build His kingdom by adding to our numbers and deepening our maturity in Christ
  • To provide an encouraging ANiC presence in Toronto
