    I've heard this speculation before, but I think that her association with the current administration would only further hurt McCain's drive.

    There are some pluses to adding Condi to the ticket though, most notably is her education and experience with Soviet Russia and the Cold War. With tensions continuing to rise between Russia and the US, she would probably prove invaluable. If anyone's been keeping an eye on the former Soviets who have managed to work their way into "public" service, it's Condi.

    Then there's the way she doesn't follow all of Bush's instructions. Sure, she does tend to follow many of her orders, but she has far more balls to stand up to the "President" than Colin Powell ever did. In fact, she's well known for standing up to the power elite, most notable in her graduate studies years, when she would publicly call out the old white men regarding their elitist ways.

    Would McCain's choice of Condi sway my vote toward a GOP ticket, though. Not even in the slightest.
